Bologna Process and Europass

On May 8th another interesting event organized by the ICM took place.
Regina Aichner from the National Agency for Lifelong Learning / Bologna Service Point and Lydia Rössler from the National Agency for Lifelong Learning presented current issues about the Austrian and European Higher Education System, the Bologna process, and the two tools EURAXESS (database for researchers) and Europass (Five documents to make your skills and qualifications clearly and easily understood in Europe). The Europass film underlined the several possibilities to make personal skills visible and to render them comparable. The presentation about EURAXESS is, among others, a job recruitment tool for researchers with constantly updated job vacancies.
All participants had the chance to take part in a quiz about studying and working life in Austria, and everybody who had five correct answers won a Bologna-Process USB-stick.
The evening ended with food and wine and networking.
