Quality Assurance

Quality assurance is not only necessary for products and services but also in the education sector. Quality assurance extends to all planned and systematic activities that are carried out to fulfil quality criteria.

Within the OeAD the Austrian Reference Point for Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training ARQA-VET was established.

Bologna Labels are arwaded by the European Commission to institutions for distinctive institutional implementation of ECTS and Diploma Supplement.

Further, the following quality assurance institutions for the education sector exist in Austria:

• FHR – Fachhochschule Council
• Accreditation Council
