Services for Students

In Austria, reductions for students are available, amongst others, for train tickets, tramway tickets, theatre tickets, concerts, museums and for many other things. For further information please contact the student welfare departments (Sozialreferate) of the ÖH (Austrian Student Union) and from the Regional OeAD Offices.

University refectories (Mensen)
Mensen are cheap self-service student cafeterias. They are either run by the ÖH (Student Union) or by student welfare and support organisations.

Culture
For students reduced-price tickets for theatre, concerts and cinema are available. For further information please contact the ÖH Cultural Departments (Kulturreferate) at all universities. 

Sports
Information is available from the university sports departments (USI) and from the sports departments (Sportreferate) of the ÖH.

Travel
The STA-Travel (offices at all university locations) offers reduced travel rates for students.
