Confirmation of Admission
Before entering Austria you should have a definite confirmation of admission of the institution at which you would like to study.
Registration in Austria
Within three days (working days) of entering Austria and also when moving house you have to register with the Registration Office by submitting your registration form (Meldezettel).
Health Insurance
You must have a sufficient health insurance that is valid in Austria for studying or research in Austria.

Living costs
In the following table you will find an estimate of the monthly living costs for students. The figures only serve as a guideline. Accommodation costs are based on a place in a student hall of residence.
