The Lifelong Learning Programme brings you to Austria
For those wishing to study, teach or work in Austria the educational programme for lifelong learning of the EU offers a whole range of options. Four separate programmes concentrate on different phases of general and vocational education:
- Comenius – School and Kindergarten
- Erasmus – Higher Education
- Leonardo da Vinci – Vocational Education and Training and Further Education
- Grundtvig – Adult Education
The cross-section programme programme supports
- political collaboration (study visits)
- language learning
- information and communication technology and
- dissemination
help people in charge of local, regional and national policies to gain in-depth knowledge of specific aspects of general and vocational education in other countries.
The Jean Monnet programme supports European Integration.

- Turkey
- as of 2010: Croatia and Macedonia
- probably as of 2011: Switzerland
