Scholarships & Grants
The team of the unit scholarships and grants is in charge of the administration of grant and scholarship programmes of the Federal Ministry of Science and Research (BMWF). The focus of these programmes is on mobility of individuals as well as on bilateral or trilateral cooperation projects. Besides, the team is also in charge of the administration of scholarships programmes financed by third-party funds. The financiers of these scholarship programmes are either foreign governments (Pakistan), companies (MONDI) or institutions, with which individual agreements have been signed.

- Grants of the Scholarship Foundation (Funding for descendants of forced labour workers or for people who come from those countries that have exceptionally suffered from the Nazi regime, especially from the recruitment of forced labour workers)
- Marietta Blau grant
- Bilateral "Aktionen" with Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary
- WTZ - Scientific and Technological Cooperation
