Committees

On January 1^st, 2009 the ÖAD association, which was founded in 1961, was converted into the OeAD-GmbH.
Its aims are the carrying out of measures of European and international cooperation in science and research as well as the development of the arts, higher education, education and training.
All shares of the OeAD-GmbH are in the ownership of the federal government.
The federal minister of science and research has been appointed with the exercising of the shareholder rights.
