About Euroguidance
Are you interested in studying or working abroad? Do you need relevant information about requirements for studying or working, about recognition of degrees and certificates as well as work placements in Europe?
If you are interested in working, pursuing education and training or studying in another European country, Euroguidance Austria will provide the necessary information.
Euroguidance Centres exist in

The European Euroguidance Network supports mobility and contributes to the development of the European dimension in education and career guidance. It informs education and career counsellors and anybody interested in studying or working abroad about study and career opportunities in Europe.

Euroguidance Austria
Euroguidance Austria is located at the Austrian National Agency for Lifelong Learning at the OeAD-GmbH (Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research).
The Euroguidance Centre Austria is an interface between education and career counselling in Austria and Europe. The target group of the centre are guidance counsellors in Austria and Europe.
Through the network of the Euroguidance Centres in Europe Euroguidance Austria can support education and career counsellors as well as individuals by means of information about education and career options in Europe.
At the same time Euroguidance Austria informs about learning options in Austria as well as about the variety of information, guidance and orientation options for career and education in Austria.
Euroguidance Austria provides information for people in Austria who want to study or work in another European country (“outgoings”) and people from abroad who want to study or work in Austria (“incomings”).
The fields of activity of the Austrian Euroguidance Centre are for example
• Information about education and further education options in Austria and Europe
• Information about the Austrian education and career counselling system
• Information and advices about the options of the Lifelong Learning Programme for education and career counsellors and their target groups (Link zu Navigationsleistenpunkt)
• Information about best practice examples in guidance counselling
• Organisation of seminars on Lifelong Guidance and Mobility
• Cross-linking of the actors in education and career information and counselling on the national level and in the framework of the Euroguidance network
Euroguidance Network
The Euroguidance Network is a network of national Euroguidance Centres in Europe. Euroguidance supports mobility by informing education and career counsellors and people interested in education and careers about the possibilities available to European nationals in Europe.
The Euroguidance Centres
• establish a connection between the education and career guidance systems of the individual countries
• provide information about education and career
• answer questions of individuals
The exchange of best practice examples in education and career counselling as well as project cooperation introduce a European dimension into the national counselling systems.
