Q: What is Euroguidance?

A: Euroguidance is a network of Euroguidance Centres in all EU countries, the EEA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, Turkey and Switzerland. The national centres inform about education options in their own countries and in Europe as well as about education and career guidance systems in these countries.

Q: Who can approach Euroguidance?

A: The main target group of Euroguidance are education and career counsellors. However, anyone interested in education and career information can contact Euroguidance.

Q: I want to study XYZ in Austria / in Europe, where can I find a scholarship?

A: At grants.at, the Austrian database for scholarships and research grants, you can find grants for students, graduates and researchers in Austria as well as incoming (to Austria) and outgoing (from Austria to …) grants.

Q: I am looking for an English-language course on the topic of XYZ in a Scandinavian country / in Austria.

A: At PLOTEUS – On the portal on Learning Opportunities throughout the European Space you can enter country, type of education (university, adult education, …), language of instruction, period, type of studies (full-time, part-time, distance education, …) as well as the subject you want to study to search for an appropriate course.

Q: I want to study veterinary medicine in Austria, which university offers this degree course?

A: The Study Guide is the Austrian portal for studies at universities and universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulen) in Austria.

Q: I want to work / do a work placement in the country XY, can you help me?

A: In the EURES Portal, the European portal for vocational mobility, you can find information about vacancies and education and training options in Europe.

Q: I will move to Austria and want to have my mechatronics degree I obtained in Greece recognised in Austria. Who can I contact?

A: The Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture offers information about the officers in charge of recognition (nostrification) at the Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture.

Q: I am looking for project partners in Italy, Romania and Estonia for an EU project in education and career counselling.

A: Send us a summary of your project idea in English. Via the platform of the European Euroguidance network our partners in these countries can help us search a partner.
