"Aktionen": Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary
The project concept of these three “Aktionen” programmes allows lecturers in higher education and researchers from Austria to collaborate in specific projects with their counterparts in the partner countries. Projects from all academic disciplines are supported. The duration of the projects is usually limited to one year. Through the Aktionen different financial support options can be applied for according to the needs, e.g. for stays in the host country, courses and conferences.
Eligible for application are universities, universities of applied sciences, Fachhochschule degree programmes, research and educational institutions but also university departments and individuals of these institutions. The decision about the project applications is taken by a committee of equal representation, consisting of 5 Austrian and 5 Slovakian, Czech or Hungarian members.
Apart from project support scholarships are awarded to students, doctoral candidates and young academics.
