ICM – Centre for International Cooperation & Mobility
The Centre for International Cooperation & Mobility (ICM) was established at the end of 2009 and understands itself as a specialist department in the OeAD-GmbH, in charge of international cooperation and mobility programmes (except those of the Lifelong Learning Programme) as well as other projects in this framework. Due to the organisational and subject-related expansion the ICM is the logical further development of the former ACM (Academic Cooperation & Mobility Unit), which forms the core of the new department.
Numerous new related organisational units have now been incorporated successfully, processes have been adapted and parallel activities in the processing of tasks have been eliminated. In this way administrative agendas in these new units have been reduced. At the same time attention was paid to maintaining and successfully continuing the existing network and committee structures and the processes related to them. The broad spectrum of activities of the ICM is now reflected in 4 main areas. In addition, branch offices in Austria and abroad support the activities of this international department.
